Goin' down the road feeling bad
Goin' down the road feeling bad, yeah, yeah
I don't want to be treated this a-way
Going where the water tastes like wine
Well I'm going where the water tastes like wine
Going where the water tastes like wine
I don't want to be treated this a-way
I can't honestly tell you I like it and I can't honestly tell you I don't. Something grabs me, yet pushes me away. Definitely unique.
ReplyDeleteMost excellent! That's where I live - grabbing and pushing and being u-nique.🤪
DeleteThat would make me, Goin' down the road feeling bad Weird Capture However good tune
ReplyDeleteI hear you - snapshots of people and buildings are weird to me.☺️
DeleteHas a certain appeal, mainly as it looks like a painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Peter - that was my intention☺️
DeleteI'm with Peter -- my first response was that it looked painted. I like it. I like that song, too. If I ever get into songwriting, I'm going to write blues songs like that, where the first three lines of every verse are the same. Very practical and efficient! 😎
ReplyDeleteThanks, partner - that song has been around for over 100 years and it's still a kicker. I wrote a couple when a group of us used to go to care facilities and do a little performance when I lived in Charlotte. I'll have to try to remember my greatest hit, "Buttermilk Biscuit Blues". It's almost as easy to write a blues song as it is a "country" song, if they even exist anymore. Mostly redneck rap and bro rock on the box these days written by the factory process in Nashville🤣
DeleteI was about to write the same thing as Peter - looks like a painting!
