Hi, everyone. I'm new. John invited me to join the group. He has been a great photography teacher, and a great friend. Looking forward to spending time here.
The weather outside is frightfully cold, so I'm indoors with a dried fig leaf and some lights, experimenting and trying to understand shadows. My son keeps insisting, "More contrast, mom, more contrast!"
Hope this post works properly.
Welcome Nancy! So great to have you here - and the exposure is perfect! Finding things to photograph indoors during this time of year can be challenging but very rewarding. Keep shooting, girl!👌
ReplyDeleteA wise teacher taught me to keep at it daily. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteWelcome Nancy! So very glad you have joined us. I am one who leans towards indoor photography a lot, especially during the winter months and of course I also edit quite a bit because it is very relaxing for me. As all the people have expressed before me, this is a a very nice capture. I really like the light and the texture you have capture in this photo. Looking forward to seeing more posts from you.
