 Since so many of you asked about my post for yesterday's monochrome shot, I decided to show you the original raw shot as well as the edited history.

The above photo is the non edited, raw file. I mentioned a while back that I have been shooting in black/white and when I do import in lightroom, I have set the app to import based on my camera setting (rather than converting to color which is the default setting in Lr).

 The permanent settings in my Nikon Z :

The camera is always set to monochrome

The white balance is never auto but permanently kept at 5500K

The ISO is never on auto

Always shoot manual mode

And mostly shoot with a 50mm f/2.8 or  24-120mm f/3.5

The above photos are the screen shot of the edited version with all the adjustments and history.

Sometimes with the help of mother nature a shot just falls into place with minimum editing.
