Catching up ...
Saturday - Colours
The red colour building attracted my eyes but there was no clouds. I had some nice skies in my file and decided to add it in.
Another building with a solid colour - yellow. It was some kind of an exhibiton hall but I am not too sure about it. Too afraid to linger too long least I would be accussed of trepassing, etc ...
Sunday - Monochrome
I really liked how the sunlight lighted the passageway
I "cheated" with the cell phone camera ... I had only need to press the "action pan" button

I like your "cheat" the best. Although the colored buildings do stand out because of their coloring, the last photo stands out because of the distortion combined with the focused view of the train. All in all every single photo has something to offer.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Camellia. Me too, I thought the "cheat" photo was neat!!
DeleteIt's not a "cheat" if you do it deliberately - turn out nicely.
DeleteThank you, John.
DeleteWow bright colored Buildings Nice set of captures
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom and Jovi.
DeleteThe 4th one is so cool. Awesome. I really like the 3rd one too. I'll bet that if it had been in color, the colors would have taken focus away from the curving passageway. The colors in the first two are striking, but it's the last two that really grabbed me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom. You are absolutely right about the photos in colour - ordinary and distracting.
DeleteNice shots as the others have said and #4 worked really well. On #3 what do you think about cropping the left up to the column and changing it to a more vertical format?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Peter for your comment. I have not thought about the vertical format. I had initally cropped where you have suggested but left it in a horizontal format; I found it too tight and I seem to have lost the light that leads to the spaciousness of the passageway.
