Just being curious - I notice that you "cut" the stem of the flower photos very short. Is there a reason, John? I would have love a bit more of the stem to give a little breathing space for the overall photo. This is only my point of view and I alwys love to learn new POVs
The dark form on the left side of the image is the top portion of the guard rail on the bridge over the pond. If I tried to include more of the stem (and I have so many of these American lotus showing stems) then the railing would have occupied the majority of the frame. Including that small portion showed that the light was indeed coming from the right and not digitally introduced.
Very pretty color and light.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
