Aha! AHA! Yesterday I wrestled with re-shooting my yellow flower again, trying to figure out how to get in closer. It dawned on me to experiment with an extension tube added to the 50-mm macro lens.
Eureka! Greater magnification!
I’ve used an extension tube with a non-macro lens. It never occurred to me to use one together with a macro lens. Seems like I’m slow, and always (always!) need to learn the hard way. 😂😂😂
But aha!
Most excellent! I generally use my extension tubes with my zoom lenses but have done so with the macro - but only on a tripod!
