I looked it up, and unfortunately you're off by a bit. I like your ideas better, though! It's identifying the round object beneath it as a "Fire Department Connection," where the fire department can hook up their fire truck to the building's sprinkler system to boost the pressure to the sprinklers. I also looked up follicular dentritic cells (FDCs) and learned they are "specialized, non-hematopoietic stromal cells in lymphoid follicles that trap and retain native antigen-antibody complexes for extended periods," in case anybody wondered. 😁
