For Those Inquisitive Minds.....

Decided to do a separate post to answer all the questions that popped up regarding this photo.....

First of all.....I have no problem with anyone in this group downloading my photos for playing purposes or for their enjoyment.😊

Now moving on.

The original photo was taken by me in Florida in 2016 with my first Nikon camera D3300.

The original metadata is below:

I came across the photo last week when searching for another photo and thought with all the updates/addons done by Adobe in Photoshop and Lightroom since 2016 this would be a good candidate to play around.

My first edit was to have Lightroom enhance the photo by increasing the resolution, hence the change in size.

Then I had Lightroom send the photo to Photoshop for more editing;

1) removed the distracting stick close to the tree
2) selected subject (the tree) and created a separate layer
3) duplicated the original photo twice
4) ran the path blur filter horizontally on one of the duplicates
5) ran the path blur filter vertically on the other duplicate
6) using the layer mask on the horizontally blurred duplicate I brushed in the vertical blur (the background trees)
7) merged all the layers and saved (which then saved it back into Lightroom)
8) used the mask in Lightroom and a brush to add some of the "light" around the tree on the water
9) tweaked some of the light/color/clarity
10) exported the final photo.

Between the enhancement and the layers the size of the photo always grows hence the following metadata:

And this is how Camellia rolls 😉😁.
