It was all a bit of a surprise. This was in my garden yesterday. We had to rescue the squirrel from one of our cats who caught it and tried to bring it in to the house. It seemed unharmed so I put it in a tree and left it be. Later in the day it was back on the lawn with our cat showing an interest and it ran to me and hid behind my legs. It then ran in to a bush and sat there looking panicked. Anyway, I put a few bird nuts down which it ignored so I just picked up a couple and offered them to the squirrel. It took them and when I tried again it climbed on to my hand. Fortunately I had my cell in my pocket. Short video here
