Thursday Fill the Frame

Here's an odd underwater scene I thought was interesting.  I couldn't decide whether to post the color version or the monochrome version, so here are both.

  2. I'm on the other side of the fence to Tom, I prefer the colour shot in this instance.

  3. Wait! Forget about the best presentation.... how did you take this? Are you swimming? Are you using a special camera? Fascinating. I like the green-colored one -- because it makes it clear to me that you are underwater. But how???

    1. I wasn't underwater. You might recall a few weeks ago I posted a picture of two geese who supervised me while I took pictures of their pond. This is one of those pictures. I was on the bank and took this picture looking into the water. A shaft of sunlight was illuminating the floor of the pond really well. Probably used a polarizing filter to reduce reflections from the surface.

  4. I like them both, but the colorversion has got the edge for me.

  6. Each have their beauty but if I were forced to choose I'd go with color. The light has a stronger existence in the colored one while the "floating whatever" stands out more in the monochrome. But since my first love in photography is color...color it is. ๐Ÿ˜‰
