Edit:
I had Chatgpt critique this photo, which it did. I followed it's suggestions (not going to say what they were). This is the suggested version:
Can you see some of the adjustments? Does it make a difference...improve/no change/ etc.?? Please feel free to comment honestly.
Good find
ReplyDeleteThe second one is more of the subject instead of the surroundings
ReplyDeleteI prefer the detail of the figure in the second but some of the background is more grey which I am not so keen on. The format of the second is too stretched. In my view it would need a bit cropped off the top to balance it a little. But eye of the beholder and all that!
ReplyDeleteThe grey background was Chat's suggestion, claiming the background was overpowering the man. Chat also suggested the cropping of the left side, which is why you are seeing it so elongated, my instinct would have made the photo more square than rectangular, so cutting off the top would have helped. The second photo is not the eye of the beholder, in this case moi, but rather the eye of Chatty chat. Fun to play around 😉
DeleteIf I ever get the urge to ask Chat for editing help, I'll remember to ask you instead.
DeleteI agree with everyone so far -- it's a nice find, and cropping off some of the left side does put more focus on the subject. I also agree with Peter S. that the top needs to be cropped down.

DeleteInteresting experiment!
