I found it amusing that, purely by luck, I caught two people within five minutes. I was waiting for the bus, fooling around with my cell phone. Nobody, I mean nobody, looks at you when you are using a phone. A camera is an instant attention magnet, but a phone is completely acceptable.

ReplyDeleteThese are both great catches! Phones are indeed great for unobtrusive street photography. If you want to be super sneaky, plug some wired ear buds into your phone (and ears). The buttons on the little microphone can be used to click the shutter.
